Cochrane Rehabilitation proposed to grow and expand the remit to include functioning and disability

On July 8th, a Cochrane call concluded, and Cochrane Rehabilitation presented a proposal to evolve from a Field to a Thematic Group, broadening our focus to functioning and disability. Cochrane will decide on this opportunity within three months.

Get Ready: The Global Evidence Summit 2024 is Just Around the Corner!

We are excited to announce Cochrane Rehabilitation’s participation in the upcoming Global Evidence Summit 2024, scheduled from September 10th to 13th at the O2 Universum in Prague, Czech Republic. The event starts with pre-summit meetings on Monday, September 9th, setting the stage for a significant gathering focused on evidence-based practice. Cochrane Rehabilitation will contribute a diverse range of presentations at this year’s summit, featuring five short orals and four poster presentations from our members.

Share your experience in a survey on walking recovery after stroke

Patient feedback and views are important. Researchers from Glasgow Caledonian University are carrying out a survey to find out what people who experienced a stroke, healthcare professionals, family members and carers believe is crucial for addressing walking issues after a stroke.

Cochrane Rehabilitation Participates in the 52nd SIMFER National Congress

Cochrane Rehabilitation is pleased to announce its participation in the 52nd National Congress of the Italian Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (SIMFER), with a Pre-Congress Course titled “Improving Daily Clinical Practice and Rehabilitation Research Using Innovative Cochrane Rehabilitation Tools.”  SIMFER2024 will be held in Padua from October 6 to 9, 2024; the theme of the congress (in Italian) is “The Science of Rehabilitation and Commitment to the Community for a New Ethics of Rehabilitation.”
